LOUIE ROSADO

Chair/Founder/President

Louie has been traveling extensively since 1972 scouting and preparing, setting up medical clinics around the world such as Hurricane Katrina, the tsunami, and the Haiti earthquake and is also an active member of the Red Cross. Louie retired from his position as a respiratory therapist at Providence - St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, California in 2016 and now devotes his time to Medical Mission Adventures.

BARBARA ROSADO

Founder/Chief Operations Officer

Barbara who has been married to Louie for 36 years, provides the leadership, management and vision; the infrastructure that ensures  MMA has the proper operational and 

administrative procedures, and  people systems in place. 

MARK DE LEON

Dental Director

Mark graduated from USC School of Dentistry and has two dental offices in the San Fernando Valley where he has been practicing since 1982. He is in charge of ordering dental supplies and equipment and coordinates all dental aspects of our clinics.

MELONY DODDS VERGOS

Board Member

Melony oversees the operations of the clinics, volunteer credentialing and privileging, training, quality control, risk management, and drug distribution. She, essentially, provides the structure that keeps everything in place.

KURTH DeMOSS

Treasurer

Financial controller with broad experience in all aspects of accounting, internal and external auditing, and financial statement and tax preparation and reporting, planning and management with private and public real estate entities, including limited treasury duties.

SHARYN ALCARAZ

Legal Director

Sharyn will serve as as our Legal Adviser on the Board of Directors for MMA. She is an accomplished General Counsel, receiving a B.A. in Quantitative Economics & Decision Sciences at UCSD, and a

Juris Doctor degree from Santa Clara University School of Law.

PATTY DUPONT-TYLER

Secretary

Patty DuPont-Tyler earned her BSN at Biola University and her MSN at California State University at Long Beach; she also trained as a pediatric nurse practitioner and earned her school nurse credential there.  She has been involved in several ministries, to include MMA, as well as her pediatric nurse practitioner organization, NAPNAP Orange County.
